Specially Designed to Keep You Cool
Both the 10-inch thick dense foam base and the 3-inch thick memory foam topper have been crafted from breathable materials so that you will stay cool all night long. Waking up in a sticky pool of sweat has long been a complaint of many people since the invention of foam mattresses. People knew they were more comfortable than traditional mattresses, but some of them just couldn’t get over how warm they became. They get hot because the air gets trapped in the foam and cannot move through it the way it moves through the springs of a traditional mattress.
Revolutionary materials and construction processes, however, have changed the mattress game completely. Now you can sleep just as peacefully (and coolly) as ever before.
If you’re like me, you like to know your mattress is clean. I get the creepy crawlies any time anyone brings up the word “dust miteâ€. I once heard that within one year half the weight of your pillow is made up of dust mites! I’m not sure whether that is actually true or not, but just the thought of it was enough to send me out into the store to purchase a special impenetrable pillowcase.
I am sure you can imagine how happy I was when I found out that this mattress came with its own cover. I wouldn’t have to go out and buy a cover for this! Talk about saving money and hassle. The cover can be easily removed and slipped into the washing machine to stay fresh.
A Little Firm
I have to say, I know when companies rate their own mattresses on a sliding scale of firmness. Simply calling one firm and another soft is just as bad as leaving you to figure it out for yourself. In this case, resort sleep has created a scale that begins at Ultra Plush (very soft), moves through plush, balance, medium-firm, and then ends at the firm. I find this helpful as it allows me to imagine the different points between basically sleeping on a giant pillow (ultra-plush) and a rock with a couple of blankets on top (firm.) This particular mattress sits between balanced and medium-firm on the scale (hence the “A Little Firm†title of this section.)
Seven Size Options
Do you own an RV or trailer and face difficulty in finding a mattress to fit your space? Are you strapped for space and need to find a way to fit a bed of adequate length into a slim bedroom? Do you and your spouse have different needs where mattresses are concerned? Do both you and your spouse toss and turn in the night? Don’t worry about a thing. With seven different size options, you will find a Resort Sleep mattress that will fit even these unique needs.
Those with RVs, on the other hand, may need something a little stranger than the usual queen or king-sized bed. Often, an RV or trailer bed is shorter than the typical queen or king-sized bed. That being said, most are the width of a queen and, unfortunately, replacement mattresses often have to be purchased from the RV or trailer company. Even more unfortunate is the fact that they aren’t usually very comfortable. It’s quite a relief to see that Resort Sleep created a short queen-sized mattress made specifically to fit into an RV or trailer.
Don’t fret if you are one-half of a couple who cannot agree on their mattress. Instead of purchasing only one, you can purchase two extra-long twin mattresses and put them together to form a king bed. That means you can get one of this type of mattress and one of Resort Sleep’s other mattresses – of any firmness you desire. Toss-and-turners need not fret, either. Resort Sleep has ensured that this mattress is available in a California king as well.
I’m usually pretty good at writing these little conclusions. Truth be told right now, though – I don’t know what else to say. I have rambled on and on for an entire page and I’m pretty sure that the major advantages of this mattress over many others should be evident by now. Here’s a quick recap, though, in case you forgot anything along the way (it was a lot of information, who could blame you?)
This Resort Sleep mattress has been made to stay cool, like a traditional spring mattress. It comes with a removable, washable cover, and it’s somewhat firm – but not near rock hard.
As you can see on Amazon, it comes in a wide variety of sizes – including those made to please people with special mattress needs.
